I hope that you have all had a good weekend despite the heat. I understand that there are concerns around the rehearsals and planned performances of Aladdin this coming week. It is very difficult to make a decision that everyone is happy with in the current situation. There are children that will feel anxious about performing if the rehearsal time is cut short and there are those that feel they’ve done enough and need to rest.

Following consultation with other schools across the region we have made the decision to close both Aldersley High School and Moreton School at 12.45 tomorrow and Tuesday as extreme temperatures reach their peak in early afternoon.
