Dear parents and carers,

We would like to invite you to an event to provide information and additional support for Year 10 students to ensure they reach their full potential during their mock exams (week beginning 24th June). This event will take place on Thursday 18th April. There will be a presentation at 4pm and then again at 5pm.

Due to the high number of students and parents wanting to attend this evening to support their child in achieving the best grades possible, it is a ticketed event. Each student can request a maximum of three tickets for themselves and two family members to join them on the evening. Please click on the link below (or in the email) to book your tickets. There will be a limited number of tickets available for each presentation time slot, and they will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Please request your tickets before 3pm on Monday 15th April.

During this event, you will receive a pack (outlined below) and attend a 30-minute presentation about what your child needs to do in the upcoming weeks to cope with exam pressures and achieve the best grades possible. This event will also give you the opportunity to speak to key members of staff if you have any queries regarding the exam process.

During this event, you will receive:

  • Core and Option Subject Revision Material: Each core subject will provide your child with resources to support them on the run up to their exams.
  • Year 10 Mock Exam Timetable: Knowing what date each of your subject’s exams is on will allow you to plan ahead.
  • Bridging Booklet: Students of parents who attend will be provided with resources to help them prepare for Year 11.

We look forward to meeting you at this event and supporting your child through these final months.

Yours faithfully,
Mr L Archer
(Attainment and Standards Leader – Year 10)
